Brown County IGA’s Meat Department offers its customers Certified
Angus Beef (insert link) and fresh seafood Thursdays through
Saturday. “Our Beef is preservative free, “ Meat Manager George
Wetzel says. “We carry Certified Angus and choice beef and we
receive fresh meat three times per week.”

can special order whatever you need and have the skill to actually
cut the meat to your specifications. In the days where many

George Wetzel
George Wetzel is in his 18th year as the Meat Manager
and is straightforward about what he likes about his job.
"I enjoy cutting meat and working with the customers," he says while deftly cutting some pork chops. "We've got
a good crew, we all get along real well and we take pride in our
work."
When he's not behind the counter, George enjoys
horseback riding with his wife and hunting mushrooms. "Don't look
for me in April," he laughs.
